A Decade Thus Far

Hi, I’m Jacob. In 2015, my ambitious 23 year old self bought as much real estate as I could afford (a 1 bed, 1 bath house) when I sold a small business portfolio that I had built from ages 18-23. When I first bought into real estate I had no clue how to do any of the work but was eager to learn and enjoyed the process. Youtube was the greatest tool in my toolbox.

Jan 2025 marks the 10 year anniversary of my first project. I assumed that every project would teach lessons, though I wouldn’t have believed how enlightening the work in this industry is. Enlightenment is generally positive though not always.

I’m no stranger to sacrifice. However, we (my wife and I at first…then ‘our team’) struggled more through this last 10 years than what I thought we would have. I’d like to invite you to view some of our struggles through very specific examples. Maybe they will be enlightening for you.
